About Our Care
Pediatric Care
Aurora Family Health offers Pediatric care with our family nurse practitioner and holistic care for children of any age. Services include well-child exams, vaccinations, sports physicals, food allergy testing and treatment for acute illnesses.
Gynecology
Gynecology with focus on integrative women’s health care. We provide annual exams, pap smears, family planning, contraception, infertility and breast care.
We also see women for other health issues such as STD’s, urinary tract infections, vaginitis, menstrual problems, thyroid dysfunction, and PCOS.
Urgent Care Visits
We reserve some appointment times for minor emergencies such as sprains & strains, cuts, and infectious illnesses. These visits are available at the discretion of the nurse-practitioner’s schedule.
Annual Exams
In our busy world it is sometimes difficult to care for our bodies the way we would wish to. We enjoy helping women find ways to optimize their health through nutrition, exercise, weight and stress reduction, as well as alternative forms of health care.
$100 Missed or Canceled Appointment Fee
We keep our appointments long so that we can give you plenty of time and attention. Because of this, we require 48 hours notice if you need to reschedule or cancel so that we can book someone else in your appointment slot. If you cancel or reschedule within 24 hours of your appointment – or if you miss your appointment entirely – we will bill you for a $100 missed appointment fee.
“My husband and I love Susie and her staff. They are always so welcoming and very caring. Could not ask for a better Midwife and family practitioner for my family”

Preparing for Your Visit
Make sure your insurance is up to date and that we are in-network for your care. Call our office if you have any concerns about this, or if you want to pay CASH prices.
Take the time to fill out the appropriate new patient registration form (see below) prior to coming into the office! This will maximize the time available for you appointment with the Nurse-Practitioner, and allow her to spend it in discussion and face-to-face contact with you.
If you are bringing in a newborn, make sure and bring any hospital paperwork with you when you come (including newborn screening forms and hospital discharge paperwork).
You can speed up your visit and maximize your time with the Nurse-Practitioner if you arrive on time. If you are a new patient please have your Child Intake Packet filled out in advance!
This is the time to bring in your health concerns and questions! An honest assessment of your recent diet, exercise and any discomforts will be helpful for informing the care you receive with us! If you are a new patient please fill out an Adult Intake Packet prior to coming in to maximize your appointment time.
We save several weekly appointments for urgent care needs. Please let our font desk person know how we can best help you and they can help you determine if your condition is appropriate for our care or whether an Urgent Care or Emergency Room would better serve your needs.

We are an old-fashioned family practice, meaning we enjoy long-lasting & personal relationships with our clients.
